Font - "Boss" knew I was to be fired at 9:30am today, didn't fire me until 1:30pm. Exactly what the title says. Came in like any other day, busted my working like usual, definitely putting out more work than other people there, like everyday. Clocked out for my 30 minute lunch. I don't ever take the 15 minute clocked in breaks they off us twice a day. 1:30 comes around and I'm still working hard and "boss" comes over and asks if I'm at a good stopping point. I guess, I was actually in the middle

Font - I'm still that I did all that work today when he could of just told me at 9:30 and I could have went home then. O is that about!?

Font - Don't even get me started on the whole of this job either. This place was about getting product out in a 7 day turn around at the latest, but boss always tied my hands behind my back and wouldn't let me work as fast as I do, or told me not to do work because that would take work away from others. Then people complained that I was sitting around not doing anything (instead of working themselves they are all just apparently watching me supposedly sitting around not doing anything all the ti

Font - Make that make sense? Dam I supposed to do at that point? Then, apparently saying that I knew I was a fast and good worker was being cocky and people hated me for it because I said it ONE time to one of the higher ups in a private email and it got trickled down the grapevine because there is no semblance of confidentiality in that place. And the backstabbing OMG. Sorry just venting.

Font - Red 12 hr. ago Dragon0414 OP. I'm just gonna paste this to all of you asking the same question - We will never know for sure for sure why. You have to take everything the boss says with the biggest grain of salt because dude ALWAYS lies.

Font - Having said that, he said they needed to cut labor costs. I speculate the backstabbers and two facers got their way by making up about me, believe whichever one you wish, regardless, everything I said was 100% true.

Font - redditrock56 11 hr. ago OP: You sacrificed by giving up the breaks that you deserved, and you worked harder than you should have. You bragged in an email about being a tryhard, and the word got out and made your situation worse.

Font - Your reward for all of this was getting canned after another day of hard work. What you do with this information is entirely up to you.

Font - NinjaRapGoGoGoGo 11 hr. ago Should have taken all of your 15 minute breaks.

Font - Red Dragon0414 OP. 11 hr. ago That definitely would have shown them I was just as useless as everyone else there and would have been able to keep my job. /s I know, but I work hard to go home and sitting around not doing anything just makes the day drag. -7 Reply Share

Font - Sadeezy13 11 hr. ago Every work place environment has politics. You failed to understand, and play the politics that needed to be played within your organization. That ONE email probably did it for you. Some organizations, though rare, love disturbers, and most others just want to maintain the status quo.

Font - I've made my fair share of political mistakes in the corporate world. Understand the culture, understand the politics, and play the game. This is how you survive and thrive in many of our corporations. It's sad, but this is the reality of most organizations. Take it as a lesson learned.

Font - RedDragon0414 OP. 3 hr. ago Lmao from a few comments you assume I'm like that huh? Good thing I didn't even talk to these people. I wasn't there to make friends. So I didn't. Sure I talked to them about work when they asked, or the obligatory "good morning" but I did my work, did it well, and went home. But good job assuming.
